  • Botox can be used to treat migraines. It became FDA approved in 2013 as treatment for the condition, although as of yet, professionals don’t actually know why it helps. Perhaps something similar to reducing excessive sweating in the sense it may block a nerve ending, hindering the migraine? If you work out why, let us know!
  • It doesn’t actually freeze your face, it relaxes it. This is a huge misconception when it comes to Botox. People think that it freezes your face, when in fact, it’s the opposite. Those pesky little wrinkles on your forehead that you see? Well, Botox relaxes those muscles which reduces the effect of a creased line.
  • It can be used on your whole face. You may think that Botox can only be used on frown lines, horizontal lines across the forehead and crows feet (eyes), however, Botox can be injected to aid several more areas, including, but not limited to; Gummy smile reduction, jaw reduction and lifting the corners of the mouth. Its talents are endless. You’re welcome.
  • It doesn’t take effect right away. If you think you’re going to walk out of the clinic looking like a supermodel, then think again. The procedure can take 3-4 days to kick in, but once it does, you’ll be over the moon with the results and you’ll be strutting down that Victoria’s Secret Catwalk in no time.
  • It is the most researched drug in the world. The product has been around for many, many years, making it a safe and effective product to use. There have been well over a thousand research papers written about Botox, so there isn’t much (if anything we don’t know about it!)
  • It’s not just for women. Men are getting in on the action too and in a big way!
  • Botox can ease an overactive bladder. Not something that comes up in everyday conversation, but it doesn’t alter the fact that Botox can be injected into th wall of the bladder, which causes the muscle to relax, there for increasing the bladders storage capacity.
  • Less if definitely more. Injecting yourself with less Botox is definitely the way to go. You want to be able to have some movement and some lines, you don’t want the ‘frozen’ look. If you visit a practitioner and you think the price is too good to be true, then it probably is. A fantastic professional (like ours) will administer safely and will only inject you with the quantity they think you need.

This modern and innovative business will be primarily to teaching medical professionals how to safely administer aesthetic medicine treatments. Working closely and in Partnership with Cosmetic Courses, who are the largest UK based training provider in this field. Dr Olha has gained her reputation, alongside our other experienced Doctors, for providing a very professional and safe environment for both Trainees and Models to get the most out of their journey.
