On arrival, guests were greeted by our lovely and friendly patient coordinator, Siaan. Everyone was offered a glass of Prosecco and a delicious cupcake, which were all made by Mia at Bouqcake. There were soft drinks and nibbles available for attendees also. Once most of the guests had arrived, everyone moved into the studio, where Dr. Olha welcomed everyone, before proceeding with a presentation, letting our guests know more about Shine Medical:  the staff, and more importantly, about the treatments we offer. This is the most important part- to reassure people that what we are offering a safe procedures and natural looks. We need to make you feel comfortable and confident about having treatment. We know that cosmetic treatments are a big step for most people and it isn’t an easy decision to make, therefore  it shouldn’t be taken lightly and at Shine Medical we are here to help you to make the right decision and give up to date advice and support at all the stages of your journey.

After a detailed introduction about our team, available treatments, and explanation of how the ageing process works, everybody moved to our reception area  for more Prosecco and nibbles. It was a great opportunity for our patients chat to each other and ask us any questions that they had. Meanwhile,Dr. Olha prepped our model, who was having a live demonstration of lip fillers. 

The demonstration went very well, everyone seemed very interested and asked questions throughout the procedure. Our model  was calm and pain free throughout the procedure. She just described the feeling as ‘A little scratch’ and nothing more. Lip fillers are the most Googled cosmetic treatment of 2016, so it’s inevitable that a lot of people are interested in them! When the patient saw the finished procedure in the mirror, she was so happy with the results! ‘Oh my God, I’ve got a lip!’ She was really pleased, and the rest of the guests commented on how great and natural it looked.

Once the procedure had been completed, and everyone had a chance to ask any questions, it was time for the raffle! Every single person who attended went home with a prize. It could have been anything from a high end skin cream, to a £50 voucher to be used at Shine Medical clinic!

Unfortunately, our colleague and our other resident aesthetic practitioner, Lisa, could not attend the open evening, due to prior commitments. She had been teaching group of medical  professionals in Buckinghamshire that day. She was certainly missed, but is looking forward to joining you all at the next open evening at Shine Medical.

All in all, Shine Medical had a very successful evening. It was wonderful to meet new clients, and of course, get to see our existing ones. Your endless support is appreciated more than you will ever know!
